One week done!

It is hard to believe we have a whole week of camp under our belts! We finished off our teaching of teens this morning with Arameh presenting on creation vs evolution. After lunch, Helena (one of the leaders here) had the kids all talk about who their influences were, what they had enjoyed about camp, and what they thought about God. It was amazing to see that they had been impacted by our ministry. Pray the lessons stay with them.

We left mid-afternoon for some weekend travels in the Orava region. Pray that we will be able to rest and enjoy this break.

Please keep next week's ministry in your prayers. We have learned that many of those signed up to attend are not believers. Pray we will have wisdom in how we approach them and for the Spirit to prepare their hearts.

Thank you so much for your prayers. We could not do this work without you!

  1. Greetings Dana, Maggie and Team Slovak,

Heavenly Father, l pray for peace in Slovakia, and in Bratislava. I ask that you bring harmony and a spirit of unity. Lord, this is Dana's home, to which you have called her and the team you have chosen to lead the people to a saving knowledge of yourself. "Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together." Psalm 34:3

Praying "May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the Lord grant all your requests. Now this l know: The Lord gives victory to his anointed." Psalm 20:4-6

Praying that the lessons will stay with the teens reading The Parable of the Sower.
"Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop - a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. He who has ears, let him hear."

Praying that you would enjoy your travels in the Orava region and have a time of refreshment and physical and spiritual renewal.

    Blessings to you, Slovak Team,

    Liz

  2. Blessings to you, Team Slovak,

Praying for your ministry this week as you receive and teach many who do not know Jesus and for wisdom to know the words that God would have you speak.
    "A truthful witness saves lives, . . . Proverbs 14:25

"The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, turning a man from the snares of death." Proverbs 14:27

Praying about how God is all powerful to change hearts as He can do anything. "But you, O God, are my king from of old; you bring salvation upon the earth. It was you who split open the sea by your power; you broke th heads of the monster in the waters. It was you who crushed the heads of Leviathan and gave him as food to the creatures of the desert. It was you who opened up springs and streams; you dried up th ever flowing rivers. The day is yours, and your also the night; you established the sun and moon. It was you who set all the boundaries of the earth; you made both summer and winter." Psalm 74:12-17

    Blessings on your ministry,

    Liz

  3. Greetings Team Slovak,

Praying for you and giving praise for God' wisdom and power and the joy of experiencing Him.
"Then Daniel praised the God of heaven and said: "Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. He changes times and seasons; he sets up kings and deposed them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him. I thank and praise you, O God of my fathers: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king." " Daniel 2:19-23

Blessings on your ministry as you experience God and share the light that is with Him to others that they may come to know Him and experience Him,

    Liz
